Policies

Proof of up to date rabies vaccine must be furnished for all pets before they will be groomed.

A signed release form is required for all pets. Sometimes groomings can uncover hidden medical problems or aggravate a current problem or the pet is much older, or is very matted, and they are at greater risk. The release form gives us permission to obtain veterinary treatment if necessary while the pet is in our care, at your cost.

We do not administer sedatives. If you feel your pet needs to be sedated please speak with your veterinarian. NEVER drop off a sedated pet without informing the groomer they are sedated!! Sedated pets need to be handled differently and closely monitored.

If your pet defecates outside the store, please clean it up, bags are available inside the reception room.

Pets who are extremely matted WILL be clipped short. It is extremely painful to the pet to brush out excessive knots.

Appointment Arrivals:

Please be on time for your pet’s appointment. Late arrivals severely disrupt the grooming of other pets. We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15/30 minutes late. Please make sure that your pet has had food & water within the last few hours and has recently pottied before to coming into the salon.

Cancellations/No-Shows:

If you cannot make your appointment, please provide us with a 24-hour notice so that we can fill that appointment slot with another client. No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged a $25 fee, which will need to be paid at your next appointment. More than two no-shows or same-day cancellations will require pre-pay of services prior to any new appointment bookings.

Appointment Pick-Up Times:

Please pick up your pet up at our agreed upon time.

If you cannot make that time, please call us so that we can try and make arrangements for you. A Daycare fee will be added if your pet is not picked up within

45 minutes of the time his ready. Please do not come early, as your pet’s grooming may not be finished. All pets must be picked up before our closing time.
